Maintenance Supervisor - Boscobel,WI

Job Description

  • Manage the resources on all shifts to achieve the expected outcome for scheduled production.
  • Encourage and promote the culture of cooperation and teamwork among the Maintenance team.
  • Develop the maintenance staff into a cohesive unit that understands the importance of all policies, work instructions and procedures related to food packaging.
  • Ensure that all personnel on all shifts comprehend the purpose and understand the need for following all company GMP’s, Quality Procedures, Safety Procedures and Policies.
  • Work with Engineering as to new equipment installation, new processes and help facilitate them through completion.
  • Work with Maintenance Coordinator to schedule all necessary maintenance and maintain a cost effective operation.
  • Promote Safety for all employees and minimize workplace injuries.

Required Qualifications

This position requires a minimum of 5-10 years maintenance experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Five years of hands-on experience performing maintenance, preventative maintenance and service work on production equipment.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Education and/or training beyond high school.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and applicable legal issues pertaining to food products.
  • Experience with new product introduction processes common in the food industry.
  • Familiarity with HACCP procedures.
  • Must have experience with computers, spreadsheet and word processing software.

Maintenance Technician Level 4 & 5 - Boscobel, WI

Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Adhere to all GMPS, food safety, regulatory (USDA) and company policies, procedures, work instructions and employee expectation requirements that support food safety and food defense.
  • Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs production and building equipment while following Nu-Pak’s approved production and quality documentation including GMPs and HACCPs.
  • Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs production machinery.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs defective machines.
  • Installs new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using proper measuring instruments and tools.
  • Maintains and repairs building equipment and physical structures, including electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoots and installs or repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery.
  • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of facility.
  • Assist Operators in startups of production machinery.
  • Facilitate startups by repairing or replacing defective machinery and equipment in a timely manor.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welders, hoists, forklifts, and measuring and testing instruments to repair or fabricate components for repairs, modifications or installations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery, using rags, brushes, oil and grease guns.
  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment, using electrical and electronic test equipment.

Job Requirements

This position requires a minimum of 5 years maintenance experience preferably in a manufacturing environment, general shop knowledge of hand/ power tools, industrial/ commercial wiring, basic machine shop knowledge, welding/ soldering/ brazing, blueprints and diagrams, PLC trouble shooting/ programming, electronics, part fabrication and the ability to work in a self-directed work environment.

1st & 2nd Shift - Quality Assurance Technician - Boscobel,WI

Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Daily calibration and verification of lab equipment.
  • Verification of CCP’s
  • Daily microbiological and environmental sampling.
  • Daily sampling and testing outlined in work instructions.
  • Shelf Life testing.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Hold/Release Policy.
  • Daily pre-operational and operational checks overseeing food safety.

Production Planner - Boscobel,WI

Nu-Pak, Inc. is currently looking for a Production Planner to efficiently maintain raw material and finished goods inventory based on customer forecasted demand. Schedule production to meet customer demand for all finished goods.

Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Order appropriate quantity of raw materials based on demand.
  • Responsible for efficiently planning production to meet forecasted production demand.
  • Responsible for system reporting and analysis of on- hand inventories of raw material and finished goods.
  • Responsible for working with the shipping and receiving personnel to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Responsible for follow up and closure on all quality issues with all their customers.
  • Responsible for following FIFO procedures and continuous code life analysis.
  • Responsible for all customer service duties. Required time on the production floor as needed to obtain information.
  • Create and close production orders for changeovers, schedule changes and in absence of SRW crew leader.
  • Investigate and determine root causes of inventory discrepancies by cycle counts and report findings to the appropriate departments.
  • Must have knowledge of warehouse capacities at all times.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of hold products, scrap totals and raw material rejection sheets.
  • Responsible for updating, printing and hanging up daily production schedule.
  • Must perform all daily, weekly and month end inventory reports for specified customers and send month end inventory report to the corporate controller.

Job Requirements

This position requires an associate’s degree or equivalent experience in an appropriate field. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills and be able to function in a team environment. Must have good attention to detail.

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Process Engineer to join our growing team. The Process Engineer is responsible for analyzing and improving existing processes in production work cells. Assess trial and develop new business opportunities. Assess ability and capability of Nu-Pak employees and identify opportunities for improving process capability through training and awareness.
